Syt. Ganga Das Jhawar and Syt. Bulaki Das Bhatter sparked a brilliant idea in the heart of Syt. Basant Kumar Birla. Their vision was to create a platform where artists, aristocrats, connoisseurs, and gentlemen could come together to converse about religion, music, dance, drama, art, culture, and other allied branches. This idea found a staunch supporter Dr. (Smt.) Sarala Birla, who acknowledged the powerful impact that music and art can have on an individual and how culture influences, molds, and transforms one's actions, habits, and character. This idea germinated and soon became a fervent desire in the heart of the 24-year-old Syt. Basant Kumar Birla. With his like-minded friends, he envisaged an artistic platform and named it "Sangit Kala Mandir," literally meaning a Temple of Music and Art. This platform became a beacon for the exchange of ideas, fostering a community that cherished the arts and nurtured cultural excellence.
